October 2016 Campout: Council Encampment
Join Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Venturing Scouts from around the Heart of Ohio Council for a weekend of fun at the 2016 Council Encampment! The theme of the event is “Step Into Your Future” and will include lots of exciting activities.
Experience a professional level Drone demonstration with high‐definition video. Watch American Endurance Racing throughout the day on the sports car track. Go Geocaching. Fly Model Rockets. Experience a Ham Radio Field Day. Bring your cars to the No Holds Barred Pinewood Derby. Visit Activity Centers for STEM, Invention Convention, Industrial, Emergency, Forestry and Arts. Check out the Cooking Expo. Participate in Campsite Competitions. See stage shows and join all your friends for an Ice Cream Social.
When: October 21-23, 2016
Where: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, Ohio
Cost: $35 per person, includes patch and spectator pass for racing
